SCBA is a group of autonomous (self-governing) congregations, cooperating together as Southern Baptist Churches here in South Central Pennsylvania. Our 28 churches and 38 pastors serve Berks, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Northumberland and Schuykill counties.  On any given weekend you will find us meeting in traditional buildings, store fronts, and in a variety of locations. You will hear a variety of languages and experience every style of worship.

Our purpose is to help strengthen churches, assist in starting new churches and cooperate with others to grow the Kingdom of God.

Our vision is to...

Equip churches to fulfill their God-given purpose,

Engage churches in starting healthy church plants,

Encourage churches through regular times of fellowship, and

Enable churches to cooperate in missions and ministry throughout the world.

If I can personally assist you in anyway please contact me.  Thanks for visiting!

Projects Needed for SCBA's New Baptist Builders Chapter

If your church needs a new roof, painting in classrooms, or other projects involving property maintenance, please submit that project in writing to SCBA as soon as possible. A group of contractors within our Association of churches is wanting to start our own "chapter" of Baptist Builders and begin taking on projects during the spring of 2018.

Projects in the home of SCBA pastors and church planters are also eligible. So if your church parsonage or pastor's private residence is in need of roof repairs, new windows, or sidewalk concrete, you may submit those projects to SCBA as well.

Churches, pastors, and planters usually just pay the cost of materials. SCBA also has an emergency fund for churches and pastors in the event of critical or timely repairs.

Text us through Facebook Messenger, call us at 717-367-9779, or email us through the SCBApa.org website.

God is blessing us with "integrity of heart...and skillfulness of hands" (Ps 78:72)!

Deacon Training Available in April 2018

Living Legacy Church, Hershey, is sponsoring a Saturday morning deacon training for their own church leaders and wants to make the training available to all SCBA churches. If your church wants to send men to learn about the biblical description in 1 Timothy 3:8-15, how these men support their pastor, and how to organize a deacon ordination service, contact the Association office for an invitation when the date and time are confirmed. Right now we're just building a list of interested churches.

Text the Association through Facebook Messenger, call 717-367-9779, or email us through the Association's website: SCBApa.org.

Festival of Praise Set for May 20, 2018; 4:00pm in Middletown

SCBA's annual Festival of Praise will be held this year at Valley Baptist Church, Middletown, on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 4:00pm. A fellowship meal will be provided immediately following the event.

Churches are encouraged to register the special musical presentation or testimony they will bring to the Festival of Praise. A focused evangelism training presentation will be made during the Festival, and hopefully, at least one pastor will be commissioned for a cross-cultural summer missions project, sponsored by the Association.

Don't miss it! Music, testimonies, church updates of God's work, and great food await you!

See you third Sunday afternoon in May in Middletown!
